about
my practice began in painting. carefully considering what i see and translating it through composition, color, and texture became a puzzle i frequented. my work deals with solving problems. paintings intend to solve problems of sight, sense, and beauty. my curiosity and desire for a deeper resolution encouraged me to solve physical problems through design. to further this exploration i searched for internships with various organizations to receive a wide variety of work experiences. i’ve worked with kibo sustainable shoes and tti ryobi , both with different design ethos but similar in their need for considering human interaction with the product. i found an affinity towards user interaction and perception of design. i completed an internship with fedex, providing intuitive redesign ideas for their shipping manager website. i aim to use my design sensibilities to encourage positive human engagement with products, digital spaces, and art.
